Andy Lee
Andy Lee (앤디), born Lee Sun-ho (이선호) on January 21, 1981, in Seoul, South Korea, is the youngest member of Shinhwa, South Korea longest-running idol group. Raised in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, he attended John F. Kennedy High School in LA and Korea Kent Foreign School in Seoul before joining SM Entertainment. His real English name was Jason; the label persuaded him to change it before debut.
Lee was the second member to join Shinhwa, debuting with the group on March 24, 1998. During his early Shinhwa years he was briefly involved in the formation of H.O.T. and appeared as a rapper on S.E.S.s single I Am Your Girl alongside Eric Mun. When Shinhwa went on hiatus for military service, Lee set up his own company, ND Entertainment, in 2007, releasing his solo debut single Unconventional Imagination (엉뚱한 상상). He later founded TOP Media in 2009, producing the boy groups Teen Top, 100%, and Up10tion before establishing his current label Andyou Entertainment in 2024.
Beyond music, Andy has built a sustained acting career in dramas and musicals, including a lead role in the stage production Music In My Heart. He married musical actress Lee Eun-joo in June 2022. He remains one of the most versatile first-generation K-pop artists still active in Korean entertainment.
