Cailee Spaeny
Cailee Spaeny is an American actor who moved from studio-scale launch roles into the prestige lane faster than most of her generation. After growing up in Springfield, Missouri theater, she broke through on film in 2018 with Pacific Rim Uprising and Bad Times at the El Royale, then kept widening her range through Devs, Mare of Easttown, and a run of directors who use her for volatility, vulnerability, and control in the same frame.
The career-changing pivot came with Sofia Coppola's Priscilla, where Spaeny played Priscilla Presley and won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at Venice in 2023. She followed that with Alex Garland's Civil War and Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus, turning festival credibility into real commercial momentum. In 2026 she joins Netflix and A24 anthology Beef Season 2, extending a run that now spans auteur cinema, franchise filmmaking, and high-end streaming without losing definition.
