Chase Infiniti
Chase Infiniti Payne (born May 5, 2000 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is an American actress making one of Hollywood's fastest ascents in recent memory. Raised in Indianapolis, she graduated from North Central High School in 2018 and earned a theatre degree from Columbia College Chicago in 2022, where she also worked as a kickboxing trainer and co-founded Duple Dance Crew, a K-pop cover dance group that sparked her connection to Korean pop culture.
She broke through with a recurring role in Apple TV+'s limited series Presumed Innocent (2024), catching the attention of Paul Thomas Anderson, who cast her as a lead in One Battle After Another (2025). The film -- a loose adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's Vineland -- premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2025 and opened to critical acclaim. For her performance, she received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award for Best Actress, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, the latter announced at the January 2026 ceremony.
She also appeared in the BAFTA EE Rising Star Award shortlist in 2026, and made her first Academy Awards appearance at the March 2026 Oscars in a lilac Louis Vuitton gown, capping an extraordinary awards season debut. Her other projects include Tyler the Creator's "Darling, I" music video (2025), the Hulu limited series The Testaments (2026, as Agnes), and the sci-fi thriller The Julia Set (2026).
Infiniti's Korean cultural ties -- channeled through her dance background -- made her a notable crossover figure as HITKULTR began covering the KPop Demon Hunters film in its original reporting.
