Hagiwa
Hagiwa is the masked drummer who gives hrtz.wav its quickest visual jolt and much of its rhythmic identity. He won the drum position on Mnet's Steal Heart Club and officially debuted under Kakao Entertainment on April 8, 2026 with the band's first EP The First Wave. In a rookie field full of polished concepts, Hagiwa arrived with something harder to fake: a character hook backed by real performance credibility.
Kakao Entertainment's official debut rollout framed him as a drummer who can play with both legs and bring a distinct energy to the group. That matters because hrtz.wav is being sold as a functioning band, not an idol project merely styled around instruments. The group's youth-pop rock sound depends on drive, texture, and live chemistry, and Hagiwa sits at the center of that momentum.
The debut window was busy immediately. NINETEEN positioned hrtz.wav's sound, festival slots at Awesome Music Festival 2026 and KCON JAPAN 2026 put the band in front of live crowds fast, and the Perfect Crown OST widened early exposure. Hagiwa still carries mystery, but the bigger point is already obvious: he is not just the member in the mask. He is one of the reasons hrtz.wav already feels like a band with a point of view.
