Hyeri
Lee Hye-ri (이혜리), known mononymously as Hyeri, is a South Korean actress, singer, and television personality who has successfully transitioned from K-pop idol to leading actress. Born June 9, 1994, in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, she was scouted at a middle school talent show and joined Girl's Day in 2010 with minimal training.
Hyeri became a national sensation after her 2014 appearance on Real Men, where a brief clip of her aegyo went viral and earned her the "Nation's Little Sister" title. Her breakout acting role came in tvN's Reply 1988 (2015), playing Sung Deok-sun in the beloved nostalgia drama. The series became one of the highest-rated Korean cable dramas ever, and Hyeri's portrayal of the lovable, underachieving teenager earned her critical acclaim and multiple awards.
Since Reply 1988, Hyeri has built an impressive filmography including Two Cops (2017) with Jo Jung-suk, Miss Lee (2019), My Roommate Is a Gumiho (2021) with Jang Ki-yong, Moonshine (2022), May I Help You? (2022), and Friendly Rivalry (2025). On the big screen, she debuted in Monstrum (2018) and starred in My Punch-Drunk Boxer (2019).
Hyeri joined Netflix's mystery variety show Agents of Mystery as a regular cast member, demonstrating her versatility across scripted and unscripted content. Her bubbly personality and quick wit make her a sought-after variety guest.
Beyond entertainment, Hyeri became UNICEF's youngest Honors Club member at 25, having donated over 100 million won to children's education programs. She is preparing for her next drama, Dream to You, set for 2026. She is signed to Sublime Artist Agency.
