Jeong Jinwoon

Jeong Jinwoon (정진운), known mononymously as Jinwoon, is a South Korean singer, guitarist, and actor born on May 2, 1991, in Seoul. As the youngest member of the second-generation K-pop ballad group 2AM, which debuted under JYP Entertainment and Big Hit Entertainment in July 2008, Jinwoon built his reputation on emotive vocal performances and a distinctly indie sensibility. Prior to 2AM, he participated in the JYP trainee survival program Hot Blood and was initially eliminated before returning to join the final lineup. Beyond group activities, Jinwoon pursued a parallel solo career as a singer-songwriter. A multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass, drums, bongo, and piano, his debut single 'You Walking Towards Me' (2011) was written and composed by him. He continued releasing original material across the years, including the 2026 collaboration 'The Instant: Fireworks Bloom' with Feeldog. Jinwoon transitioned into acting in 2012, portraying aspiring rock star Jin Yoo-jin in the KBS drama Dream High 2. Subsequent roles include Marriage Not Dating (2014), Madame Antoine: The Love Therapist (2016), Still 17 (2018), the basketball film Rebound (2024, as Bae Gyoo-hyeok), Grand Shining Hotel (2025), and the film Choir of God (2025). In 2023, he held his first solo photography exhibition, Progress or Regress, in Seoul. Jinwoon is currently signed to Mystic Story.
