Ju Ji-hoon

Ju Ji-hoon (주지훈; born May 16, 1982, Seoul) is a South Korean actor whose career spans two decades of Korean entertainment. He studied acting at Kyonggi University and broke through with Princess Hours (Goong, 2006), peaking at 28.3% domestic ratings and establishing him as a pan-Asian star. He won Best New Actor at the MBC Drama Awards. After mandatory military service, he built a formidable film career. The fantasy epic Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017) became South Korea's second-highest-grossing domestic film. His 2018 double of The Spy Gone North and Dark Figure of Crime earned Best Supporting Actor recognition across the major awards circuit. Netflix's zombie Joseon thriller Kingdom (2019-2020) brought him global reach across 190 countries, with his Crown Prince Lee Chang praised for physicality and restraint. His most decorated performance came in 2025 with The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, for which he won Best Actor at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards. He also starred in the webtoon adaptation Light Shop (2024). In 2026, he makes a special appearance in tvN's crime-thriller black comedy Mad Concrete Dreams alongside Ha Jung-woo.
