Juwang
Juwang (주왕), born Jang Ju-wang (장주왕) on May 2, 2006, is the main vocalist of KickFlip (킥플립) under JYP Entertainment. A native of Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, he first drew national attention as a contestant on the SBS survival show LOUD, where his raw vocal power and tumbling skills set him apart. He trained at the Soul Tree Practical Music Academy before joining JYP.
On January 6, 2025, JYP officially unveiled Juwang as one of KickFlip's seven members, and on January 20, 2025, the group debuted with the mini album Flip it, Kick it!. The title track "Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)" introduced his high-powered tenor to the world. KickFlip quickly followed with Kick Out, Flip Now! (May 26, 2025) and My First Flip (September 22, 2025), the latter selling over 401,000 copies in its first week and pushing the group into the Circle Chart Million Seller Club just nine months after debut.
In August 2025, Juwang took the Bud Light Stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago alongside his groupmates, one of the fastest K-pop groups to reach a major American festival post-debut. On the group's first anniversary (January 20, 2026), he and member Donghyeon performed "Good Night" on the celebratory single From KickFlip, To WeFlip. As KickFlip's vocal anchor, Juwang's emotional depth and technical precision define the group's more melodic moments.
