Kang Dong-ho

Kang Dong-ho (강동호), better known as Baekho (백호), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, and musical theatre actor. He spent over a decade as the main vocalist and music producer of NU'EST under Pledis Entertainment, debuting with the group on March 15, 2012. His raw, high-powered vocal delivery and production instincts were defining qualities of NU'EST throughout their decade-long run, making him one of the most respected vocalists of his generation. Born on July 21, 1995, in Aewol, Jeju Province, Baekho trained as an idol before joining NU'EST as a founding member. Beyond his group activities, he pursued musical theatre, performing in productions including In the Heights and Sweeney Todd, earning critical praise for translating idol charisma into dramatic stage performance. After NU'EST disbanded on March 15, 2022, Baekho renewed his Pledis contract and launched his solo career in October 2022 with the mini-album Absolute Zero. He continued releasing music through 2024. In March 2025, after 13 years, he departed Pledis Entertainment. He formed TEAM Baekho on April 7, 2025, partnering with Prismfilter Music Group for music, RND Company for broadcasting and entertainment, and RIZZCOMM for media. He released the single album Rush Mode in November 2025 and enlisted for mandatory military service on December 29, 2025.
