Kang Dong-ho
Kang Dong-ho (강동호), globally known as Baekho (백호), is one of the strongest power vocalists to come out of third-generation K-pop. He debuted in 2012 as the main vocalist of NU'EST under Pledis Entertainment, then built a second reputation as a songwriter, producer, and stage performer whose voice could carry both glossy idol records and far heavier dramatic material.
That range is what kept his solo run credible after NU'EST. Absolute Zero in 2022 gave Baekho a sharper individual identity, then LOVE OR DIE, Off-Road, and Rush Mode pushed him deeper into a sleeker, darker pop lane. In parallel, his musical-theatre work, including The Man Who Laughs, showed why he has always read bigger than a standard idol main vocal. He performs with force, but the technique underneath is what makes the catalog stick.
The 2025 shift into TEAM Baekho mattered because it turned his post-Pledis chapter into a genuinely self-directed structure. With Prismfilter Music Group handling music and outside partners supporting management and promotion, Baekho entered a more autonomous phase just before enlistment. On HITKULTR, that makes his page less about nostalgia and more about a vocalist with legacy weight, theatre credibility, and a clear second-act business identity.
