Keiten
Keiten (케이텐) is the guitarist of hrtz.wav, the five-member band launched by Kakao Entertainment after Mnet's Steal Heart Club. He debuted with the group on April 8, 2026 through the EP The First Wave, arriving with one of the clearest musician-first profiles in the lineup.
That positioning was built into the official rollout from the start. Kakao described Keiten as a Berklee College of Music alumnus with polished technique and range across genres, then revealed that he also helped name the band. In a rookie act being sold on live-playing credibility rather than choreography-first spectacle, those details matter. They frame him as both a performer and a shaping voice inside the project.
Keiten's playing sits at the center of hrtz.wav's early identity. NINETEEN and the rest of The First Wave lean on bright guitar lines, youthful momentum, and a band texture that feels intentionally clean rather than overprocessed. That approach fits the group's larger pitch: a multinational five-piece built for festivals, live stages, and a longer runway inside Korea's band scene.
With hrtz.wav now moving from survival-show concept to active release cycle, Keiten enters the market with more definition than most rookie instrumentalists get. He is already tied to the band's sound, its naming story, and its live-band thesis, which gives his solo page real weight even at the beginning of the rollout.
