Kevin Woo

Kevin Woo (우성현), born November 25, 1991, in Danville, California, is a South Korean-American singer-songwriter, actor, and television host based in New York City. He first came up through the K-pop idol system, debuting with boy group XING in 2006 after being scouted at age 15. Two years later he joined U-KISS under NH Media, where he spent nearly a decade as the group's English-speaking anchor and variety personality. After leaving U-KISS in 2017 when his contract expired, Woo pivoted toward New York-based creative work -- hosting on Arirang TV's After School Club, releasing solo music including the 2018 single "Ride Along" and the 2019 EP Treasure, and performing in the 2022 Broadway musical KPOP. His career expanded into film with a role in Anderson .Paak's directorial debut K-Pops!, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024. In 2025, Woo provided the singing voice for the character Mystery Saja of the fictional group Saja Boys in the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters. That same year, he formed the group UX1 with former U-KISS members Hoon and Kiseop, releasing the single "Halo." In 2026, he signed with talent agency UTA, marking a significant step in his crossover into the Western entertainment industry. His career arc traces the growing pipeline between K-pop and English-language markets.
