Kim Hyun Joo

Kim Hyun Joo (김현주) is a South Korean actress with three decades of television credits and a reputation for picking prestige projects. Born April 24, 1977, in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, she studied at Dankook University, debuted in 1996, and became a familiar face in major network dramas throughout the 2000s.

Early career highlights include the Cinderella melodrama Glass Slippers (2002) and the sweeping historical adaptation Toji, the Land (2004). She built her credibility further with the long-running family drama What Happens to My Family? (2014) and the crime thriller I Have a Lover (2015).
