Lee Sang-hee

Lee Sang-hee (이상희), born Lee Na-ri, has one of the sharpest indie-to-mainstream acting arcs of her generation. End of Winter announced her early, Our Love Story turned critical attention into real momentum, and later television work proved she could carry the same intimacy into broader commercial formats without flattening what made her compelling.

That path is part of what makes her screen presence feel different. The Korean Film Council notes that she had already trained in nursing science and worked as a hospital intern before pivoting into acting, and that late start seems to have given her performances extra texture. In The Completion of Marriage, she joins KBS2's ensemble as Kim Kyung-ae with the same grounded force that lifted earlier work.

The current version of Lee Sang-hee is no longer just an indie darling kept alive by critic memory. With KBS Media pushing a bigger platform and Red Nine Pictures behind the production, she is being used where emotional precision and pressure have to coexist inside a wider audience drama.
