Lee Seung-hoon
Lee Seung-hoon (이승훈), better known as HOONY, is the lead rapper, main dancer, and choreographic engine of WINNER. He first broke into public view as a standout contestant on K-pop Star Season 1 in 2011, then joined YG Entertainment and debuted with WINNER in August 2014 after WIN: Who Is Next. That route matters because it made him a performer first, then an idol, not the other way around.
Inside WINNER, Seung-hoon's value has never been limited to rap. He has long been one of the group's main choreographic thinkers, shaping the loose, groove-heavy stage language that set WINNER apart from more rigid second- and third-generation boy-group performance styles. That instinct carries across releases from 2014 S/S and Really Really to the 2022 mini album HOLIDAY.
His solo catalog finally expanded in a serious way with the EP MY TYPE on July 15, 2024, following the earlier single FLAMENCO. After military service, he returned to the stage for WINNER's IN OUR CIRCLE concerts at Seoul's Olympic Hall in July 2025 and extended his performance lane with a run in the musical Dream High. The throughline is clear: Seung-hoon is one of the rare idol performers whose choreography, rap cadence, and stage intelligence all read as parts of the same creative identity.
