
Minje (KickFlip)
Minje (민제), born Choi Min-je (최민제) on May 12, 2006, is a member of KickFlip (킥플립) under JYP Entertainment. Born in New Zealand and raised in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, he is bilingual in Korean and English and joined JYP as a trainee in August 2021. He debuted with the group on January 20, 2025, with the mini-album Flip It, Kick It! and its lead single "Mama Said."
Athletic and versatile, Minje's listed specialties include guitar, basketball, and jump rope. He brings an easy, kinetic energy to KickFlip's performances that tracks with a debut year full of firsts. In May 2025 the group dropped their second EP Kick Out, Flip Now!, and in August 2025 became the first JYP act to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago. The September 2025 third EP My First Flip earned the group their first music show win on Show Champion in October 2025 with "My First Love Song." KickFlip closed the year with a two-night fan concert, "From KickFlip, To WeFlip," at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul in January 2026.
In March 2026 the group released pre-release single "Twenty" ahead of their fourth mini-album My First Kick, set for April 7, 2026.
