Ong Seong-wu
Ong Seong-wu (옹성우) has one of the cleaner second acts to come out of Wanna One. He entered the public eye through Produce 101 Season 2 with the kind of balance agencies spend years trying to manufacture: sharp camera sense, stage confidence, comic timing, and enough emotional restraint to make the quieter moments land. That made him memorable inside the group, but it also gave him a better runway than most project-idol alumni once the original contract cycle ended.
Instead of forcing a straight singer-only route, Ong widened the lane. He moved into lead acting work with At Eighteen, followed with More Than Friends, broadened his screen profile through film work including Seoul Vibe and Life Is Beautiful, and kept music in the picture through releases such as the EP Layers. The result is a career that reads less like a side quest and more like a deliberate multi-platform build under Fantagio.
That is why he still matters inside the 2026 reunion frame. Ong Seong-wu brings recognisable star power from the group's peak years, but he also returns with the sharper instincts of an actor-singer who spent the gap years building a broader audience. He is one of the clearest examples of how a temporary idol platform can turn into a long-term entertainment career with real durability.
