Riaan

Riaan (리안) is the vocalist of hrtz.wav, the five-member band assembled through Mnet's Steal Heart Club and launched by Kakao Entertainment. He debuted on April 8, 2026 with The First Wave, stepping into the role Kakao presented most clearly from the start: the voice at the center of the band.

That description lands because hrtz.wav is being pushed as a live act with youth-pop instincts, not a concept group pretending to be a band. Kakao highlighted Riaan's wide range and emotional delivery during the debut rollout, and those strengths quickly became part of the group's identity on record. He gives NINETEEN much of its lift, then turns toward something softer and moodier when the band shifts gears.

The clearest example so far is You Keep Me Here, hrtz.wav's first drama soundtrack for Perfect Crown. Kakao specifically highlighted Riaan's clear but husky tone in the song's official rollout, which gives his page a sharper angle than most rookie-vocalist profiles get. He is not only the frontman by position. He is already the member most closely tied to the band's emotional language.
