Youn Young-jun
Youn Young-jun is the keyboardist who helps keep hrtz.wav balanced, melodic, and performance-ready from the inside out. He came through Mnet's Steal Heart Club, won the keyboard position, and moved straight into the band's April 8, 2026 debut under Kakao Entertainment. That route matters. It framed him not as a trainee filling a lineup slot, but as the clear first-place pick for the instrument that often defines the band's emotional temperature.
On debut EP The First Wave, Young-jun helped introduce hrtz.wav as a youth-pop rock act built on bright hooks, live-band chemistry, and a sharper emotional register than most rookie launches. He singled out lead track NINETEEN as the song that best represents the team, tying the band's identity to that threshold moment between youth and adulthood. The line fits his role. His keyboard work gives the group much of its warmth and lift, especially when the songs lean into nostalgia, longing, or momentum.
Young-jun's early run already carries more than one standard debut marker. Alongside the EP launch, hrtz.wav lined up festival appearances at Awesome Music Festival 2026 and KCON JAPAN 2026, then added an OST move with Perfect Crown. That mix of broadcast-origin credibility, live-stage exposure, and soundtrack work gives Young-jun a stronger first-year platform than most rookie band members get. He is still at the start, but the positioning is clear: a musician-first idol-band player with enough skill and poise to anchor hrtz.wav's next phase.
