MAINSTREAM
MAINSTREAM, formally Mainstream Winter Inc., is the Seoul-based independent management company built around Lee Young Ji and producer Kik5o. Founded in 2019, the company built its profile by backing one of Korea's clearest crossover rap stars while keeping a small roster and a tight operating identity.
That strategy moved into a larger global lane in March 2026, when Warner Music Group announced a formal partnership with MAINSTREAM covering talent development, music production, and promotion. Warner identified Lee Young Ji's single Robot as the first co-production release under the deal, turning the company from a respected local player into a more visible international one.
MAINSTREAM matters because it shows how an independent Korean hip-hop company can scale with focus instead of roster size. Between Lee Young Ji's rise from High School Rapper 3 and Show Me the Money 11 into mainstream hosting and global-label partnership territory, the company has become a useful case study in how modern Korean rap management can stay lean without staying small.
