Manta is Ridi's global reading product, built to keep English-language fandom inside one story ecosystem instead of pushing overseas readers into scattered licensing channels. The platform launched globally in 2020, then expanded beyond webcomics by adding serialized web novels in December 2025 and manga in spring 2026. That shift matters because it turns Ridi's international storefront into a broader multi-format funnel rather than a single-medium export app.

Ridi's April 2026 corporate release said Manta has reached 19 million cumulative downloads across 175 countries while running a hybrid model that combines subscriptions with single-title purchases. That scale gives Manta real weight in the same upstream IP race where Naver Webtoon and KakaoPage try to identify which reader behavior can later fuel bigger adaptation demand.
