Less than a year after wrapping their debut tour, BABYMONSTER is going bigger. YG Entertainment announced on March 16 at midnight KST that the seven-member group will embark on their second world tour in June 2026, hitting five continents including their first ever stops in Europe, South America, and Oceania, according to Soompi. The scale tells the story. Where HELLO MONSTERS covered 20 cities across 32 shows and 300,000 fans, this second world tour is targeting a significantly larger footprint. And with a dome show now on the calendar, YG is not playing it safe. The Japan leg alone is estimated to gather more than 200,000 fans across six cities and 13 concert dates.
Japan Leg: Dates and Venues Confirmed
The Japan leg alone is stacked. BABYMONSTER will hit six cities across two months, culminating in their first ever dome concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka on September 22 and 23, 2026. The tour begins in Kobe on July 8-9 at GLION ARENA KOBE, then moves to Marine Messe Fukuoka A Hall on July 28-29, Pia Arena MM in Yokohama on August 1-2, LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba on August 11-12, IG Arena in Nagoya on August 16, before the climactic dome dates in Osaka. Kyocera Dome seats over 36,000 for concerts, putting BABYMONSTER in the same venue class that took BLACKPINK four years to reach. For a group not even two years into their career, that is a bold bet on demand, and a clear signal from YG that they see BABYMONSTER as their next flagship touring act.
The Global Expansion
While Seoul opens the tour in June, the real headline is where they are going after Japan. YG confirmed Europe, South America, and Oceania will all see BABYMONSTER for the first time, as reported by Bandwagon Asia. Specific cities and dates for these regions have not dropped yet, but the announcement positioned this as the group's true global breakout moment. YG founder Yang Hyun Suk stated in the official announcement video that the tour will mark "the biggest world tour that the band has ever embarked on," building on the Newark and Los Angeles dates from their debut tour that proved BABYMONSTER could sell in the US market.
"Thanks to the support of our fans, we are holding our second world tour faster than expected," YG stated via their official channels. "All artists and staff are working to deliver improved performances for MONSTIEZ around the world." North America is also on the itinerary, with additional cities expected beyond the US stops from their first tour. The pace of expansion reflects YG's confidence in the group's drawing power across multiple markets simultaneously.
New Music Before the Tour
The tour timing aligns with a stacked release calendar. BABYMONSTER drops their third EP, titled "CHOOM" (춤, meaning "dance" in Korean), in early May 2026. Chief producer Yang Hyun Suk described it as having "a slight edge and coolness," calling it "a BABYMONSTER album you have never heard before," per Bandwagon's coverage of YG's announcement video released March 3, 2026. The lead single "CHOOM" will arrive as a pre-release, with a second single expected before the tour kicks off. Then in October 2026, the group releases their second full-length studio album, following November 2024's DRIP which saw the title track MV cross 200 million YouTube views last week.
MONSTIEZ Membership and Pre-Sales
Fan club pre-sales for tour tickets will run through the MONSTIEZ MEMBERSHIP (GLOBAL) on Weverse, as confirmed by YG Entertainment's official ticketing announcements. Members need to complete registration during designated periods on the ticketing page to access priority purchasing. This system was used for the LOVE MONSTERS Asia Fan Concert, which ran from late 2025 into early 2026 across six Asian cities in 12 shows. General sale details for each region will be announced separately.
What This Means for BABYMONSTER's Trajectory
BABYMONSTER debuted in April 2024 and immediately became YG's flagship new generation act. The pace they are moving suggests YG sees them as the label's next global standard bearer, the group positioned to carry the BLACKPINK legacy while the senior group navigates solo activities and individual brand deals. A dome show 18 months after debut. Five continents. A stacked release schedule that includes two album cycles in a single year. YG is not building slow. They are betting BABYMONSTER can handle the scale now, and the early ticket demand from MONSTIEZ suggests the bet may be paying off.
