BABYMONSTER
BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터), also known as Baemon, is a seven-member South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2024. The group consists of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita, representing a multinational lineup from South Korea, Japan, and Thailand.
Following years of anticipation as YG's next girl group after BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER's formation was chronicled in the 2023 reality show Last Evaluation. The group officially debuted on April 1, 2024, with their EP Babymons7er. Lead single "Sheesh" became their first top-ten hit on the Circle Digital Chart and set records as the fastest debut music video to reach 100 million YouTube views (18 days).
Their debut studio album Drip dropped in November 2024, selling over one million copies in South Korea. The title track peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Global 200, while G-Dragon contributed to its composition. Album b-side "Really Like You" went viral on TikTok, topping TikTok Korea's Viral 50 chart for five consecutive days in January 2026.
BABYMONSTER launched their first world tour, Hello Monsters, in January 2025, beginning with a two-day concert at KSPO Dome in Seoul. They became the fastest female act to headline the venue, accomplishing this within eight months of debut. The tour drew 300,000 concert-goers across thirty-two shows in twenty cities. Their second EP, We Go Up, released in October 2025, continued the group momentum with another music show win on M Countdown.
