ATEEZ

ATEEZ (에이티즈) arrived in October 2018 with a hunger that most debut groups take years to develop. The eight members from KQ Entertainment, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho, built their identity on theatrical performances, elaborate concept storytelling, and a touring work ethic that set them apart before most Western audiences knew their names. Their debut EP, Treasure EP.1: All to Zero, launched the "Treasure" series that would define their first two years: a pirate-coded, adventure-mapped narrative universe that gave the group's performance style a coherent visual and thematic backbone. The series culminated in Treasure EP.Fin: All to Action in late 2019, by which point ATEEZ had already distinguished themselves as one of the most performance-focused acts of the fourth-generation wave. The commercial breakthrough arrived in 2022. The World EP.1: Movement became their first release certified "million" in South Korea. The following year, The World EP.Fin: Will hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a landmark achievement for a group operating entirely outside the Big Four agency structure. In 2024, ATEEZ became the first K-pop boy group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and the first K-pop act to headline the Mawazine music festival in Morocco. As of early 2026, they have sold over eleven million physical albums worldwide. Their accolades include Prime Minister's Commendation at the 2025 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards, daesang (grand prize) wins at the 2024 and 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards, the 10th Asia Artist Awards, and the 33rd Hanteo Music Awards. They are also the first K-pop group to chart three different releases in the top 10 of the UK Official Albums Chart within a single calendar year. The South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism designated them "Next Generation Leaders" as early as 2020. ATEEZ are managed by KQ Entertainment, distributed globally through RCA Records and Legacy Recordings via Sony Music.
