BOYNEXTDOOR
BOYNEXTDOOR (보이넥스트도어) is a six-member South Korean boy group formed by KOZ Entertainment, a HYBE subsidiary founded by rapper-producer Zico. The group debuted on May 30, 2023, with the single album Who!, the first entry in a "First Love" trilogy that defined their early catalog. Members Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak take their name from the "boy next door" archetype -- a deliberate signal of the warm, relatable image they've built around everyday life and first-love storytelling.
Their debut year was marked by rapid growth: the EP Why.. (September 2023) became their first entry on the Billboard 200, and subsequent releases pushed further into the mainstream. How? (2024) topped the Circle Album Chart -- the group's first number-one -- while their Japan debut through Universal Music Japan with And, and the third EP 19.99 established an international following. They closed 2024 with the Knock On Vol.1 Tour.
2025 marked a creative shift. Their fourth EP No Genre (May 2025) debuted to commercial success and was followed by The Action (October 2025), their fifth EP. The group also released standalone digital singles throughout the year, including "If I Say, I Love You" and "Boylife". BOYNEXTDOOR now counts over 2.6 million monthly Spotify listeners and has built a reputation for emotionally direct songwriting and cohesive visual storytelling.
