Choi Min-gi

Choi Min-gi (최민기), known by his stage name Ren (렌), is a South Korean singer and musical actor with one of the most distinctive visuals in K-pop. Born on November 3, 1995, in Busan, he trained under Pledis Entertainment before debuting as the youngest member and visual of NU'EST on March 15, 2012. Over a decade with NU'EST, Ren became celebrated for his androgynous style, expressive performance, and unwavering stage presence -- qualities that defined him from the group's very first single, "Face." After NU'EST concluded their journey in March 2022 following their tenth-anniversary concert, Ren signed an exclusive contract with Big Planet Made (BPM) in May 2022 and spent the following year preparing his solo debut. On June 13, 2023, he released Ren'dezvous, his debut mini album, with "Ready to Move" as the title track -- a confident opening statement that blended pop, R&B, and the theatrical flair he honed through musical theatre. A natural performer with broad artistic range, Ren has appeared in multiple Korean stage productions throughout his career. His devoted fanbase, known as Tokkidans, has followed him across every chapter of his journey.
