Choi Woo-sung
Choi Woo-sung (최우성) has built one of the cleaner actor growth arcs of his generation. He came in through youth-drama support roles, learned how to hold texture in ensemble casts, then turned that apprenticeship into a real breakout with the 2022 film Room Sharing. That performance gave him his first major industry recognition and proved he could carry warmth, strain, and comic rhythm without overplaying any of it.
His follow-up choices kept widening the frame. Choi moved through projects for JTBC, tvN, and MBC, then leveled up again in Chief Detective 1958, where he turned physical transformation and action work into a bigger mainstream statement. By 2026 he was part of Netflix rom-com Can This Love Be Translated?, joining a cast led by Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung.
That combination of film credibility and streamer visibility is why his page needs more than a flat résumé. Choi is not simply stacking credits. He is proving he can move between grounded character work, broad-platform romance, and period action without losing his center. The AM Entertainment era has started to look less like promise and more like a sustained run.
