Dongheon

Lee Dong-heon (이동헌), known as Dongheon, is the leader, main rapper, and lead dancer of VERIVERY (베리베리) under Jellyfish Entertainment. Born August 4, 1995, in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, he trained for over four years before debuting on January 9, 2019 with VERIVERY's first mini album Veri-Us. Dongheon sets the tone for VERIVERY's identity with precise rap delivery and uncompromising standards during dance rehearsals, earning him the nickname "Dance Teacher from Hell" among fellow members. The group competed on Mnet's Road to Kingdom in 2020, a turning point that sharpened their self-production ethos and built an international fanbase known as VERRER, through music videos directed entirely by member Minchan. In August 2023, Dongheon began mandatory military service and was honorably discharged in February 2025. He then entered Mnet's Boys II Planet survival show, representing Jellyfish Entertainment before being eliminated in episode 5, ranking 49th. With all active members renewing their contracts, VERIVERY returned as a five-member unit on December 1, 2025 with Lost and Found, their first release in over two and a half years.
