VERIVERY

VERIVERY (베리베리) is a South Korean boy group under Jellyfish Entertainment, formed in 2018 and officially debuted on January 9, 2019. The group takes its name from a combination of the Latin word "veri" (truth) and the English word "very," representing their philosophy of being various, energetic, real, and innovative. What separated VERIVERY early on was their approach to production. From the beginning, the group self-produced a significant portion of their own content, with member Minchan directing and editing their music videos. It was a deliberate choice to develop ownership over their creative identity, and it gave their output a distinctiveness that set them apart from most groups at their stage of development. Their discography runs from the debut mini album Veri-Us (January 2019) through multiple series -- the Face it trilogy, Series O, Liminality -- each era shifting tone and visual language while maintaining the group's commitment to self-expression. In 2020, their single G.B.T.B. (Go Beyond The Barrier) topped Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, a first for the group. Their single Get Away (2021) repeated the feat with two consecutive weeks at number one. In 2025, the group released their fourth physical single album Lost and Found, which included the title track Red (Beggin'). It brought them their first music show win in three years, a milestone that landed with extra weight after years of consistent work without the trophy to match. The current active lineup consists of five members: Dongheon, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung, and Kangmin. Their official fanbase is called VERRER.
