Kim Rae-hwan (김래환), born February 15, 1992 in Gangneung, South Korea, is a singer-songwriter, producer, and video director who performs under the name from20 (프롬트웬티). A former main vocal and member of Brave Entertainment boy group BIGSTAR, he appeared on survival show The Unit in 2017 before pivoting to an independent career following the group's hiatus. He made his solo debut on March 28, 2021 with the single album 20; Still Greedy for Juicy, I'm Kissing This 20, introducing a raw, confessional singer-songwriter sound. The same year, he released his first full-length album 20 (November 2021), which established the emotional and sonic blueprint for his solo work. In 2021, he co-founded the independent artist collective and label WAY BETTER (formerly The Faker Club) alongside fellow artist HELLO GLOOM, building a platform for music, fashion, and video production free from idol management structures. Under WAY BETTER, from20 has maintained full creative control across releases and visual output, directing many of his own music videos. His subsequent singles expanded through R&B, electronic, and pop directions: Bad Revenge (2023), Beat It (2023), Demon (2024), and the high-fashion synth-pop single Eye Candy (April 2025) each built his international following. Collaborations with HELLO GLOOM -- Your Love (2024) and Blue (2024) -- reinforced the duo's shared creative identity. His 2025 single Social and the 2026 WAY BETTER collective single 119 continued building his dedicated global fanbase. In April 2024, from20 and HELLO GLOOM completed the 2024 Europe Tour Fast On The Highway, performing across the UK, France, Germany, and beyond. The 2026 WAY BETTER World Tour: Global Warming expanded that reach to Asia and the Americas, launching in Seoul in January 2026.
