HELLO GLOOM

Na Ung-jae (나웅재), born May 28, 1998 in Seoul, is a singer-songwriter, producer, and dancer who performs as HELLO GLOOM (헬로글룸). The maknae of K-pop boy group IMFACT, which debuted January 27, 2016 under Star Empire Entertainment, he built a distinct independent identity after the group entered an indefinite hiatus in early 2022. His solo journey began in September 2021 with the single Drama, followed by the debut EP Because I Was Young Boy (May 28, 2022), which introduced his introspective indie pop voice to audiences beyond the idol circuit. The six-song collection drew on personal reflection and emotional honesty, quickly building a core fanbase among independent K-pop listeners. In 2021, he co-founded the independent artist collective and label WAY BETTER (formerly The Faker Club) alongside from20, establishing a self-directed platform spanning music, fashion, and video production. Under WAY BETTER, HELLO GLOOM has released everything from bedroom-pop confessionals to bold, genre-crossing singles with international appeal. His discography broadened across 2023 and 2024: Heaven On Earth, Dancing in the Dark, and Eyes On Me (2023) each expanded his sonic range. MAMACITA (March 2024), his first English-language single, reached new audiences with a cross-cultural pop energy. Somebody (2024) and the collaborative singles Your Love and Blue (both 2024, with from20) reinforced the duo's creative bond. In 2026, HELLO GLOOM appeared on the large-scale WAY BETTER collective single 119 alongside from20, Lim Se-jun, and Chan. In April 2024, he and from20 completed the Fast On The Highway Europe Tour, performing across the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. The 2026 WAY BETTER World Tour: Global Warming launched in Seoul in January 2026 and extended across Asia, North America, and South America.
