H1-KEY

H1-KEY (하이키; stylized as H1-KEY, pronounced "High-key") is a South Korean girl group that debuted on January 5, 2022, with their first single album Athletic Girl. Originally formed under Grandline Group (GLG) in partnership with Sony Music Korea, the group has been managed by Choi Creative Lab since August 2025. Their name is inspired by the phrase "high key" -- a deliberate, confident self-expression that refuses to stay quiet. The group's current lineup consists of four members: Seoi (leader), Riina, Hwiseo, and Yel. Each trained under a major agency before the group formed -- Seoi at YG Entertainment, Yel at JYP Entertainment, Riina at WM Entertainment. The group launched with five members, but Thai idol Sitala departed on May 25, 2022, following controversy surrounding her father's political affiliations in Thailand. Hwiseo joined as the new fourth member on June 14, 2022. H1-KEY built their discography through confident, melodically distinct releases. Rose Blossom and Seoul Dreaming (both 2023) established their range; the latter featured fan-favorite "SEOUL (Such a Beautiful City)." In 2024, Love or Hate introduced harder textures, including the standout "Deeper." Their fourth mini album Lovestruck (2025) arrived around the group's transition to Choi Creative Lab in July 2025, the same year they completed a Japanese debut with a Japanese version of the same album. On January 5, 2026 -- four years to the day from their debut -- H1-KEY released the digital single "Not Like a Movie" (세상은 영화같지 않더라). Their fifth mini album LOVECHAPTER followed later that year.
