Han

Han (한), born Han Ji-sung (한지성) on September 14, 2000, in Incheon, South Korea, is the creative spine of Stray Kids and one of the most prolific songwriters working in K-pop. As a core member of JYP Entertainment's in-house production unit 3RACHA alongside Bang Chan and Changbin, he has accumulated over 174 KOMCA-registered credits and in 2023 became the youngest K-pop idol granted full membership in the Korea Music Copyright Association. Born in Incheon and raised partly in Mokpo and Malaysia, Han returned to South Korea at fourteen with a clear deadline: earn a JYP contract within a year or go back to finish school. Three months later, he passed the audition. That compressed urgency shows up in his output. He writes fast, writes constantly, and writes with emotional precision rare for his age. Within Stray Kids he handles primary rap and production alongside Chan and Changbin, but it is his instinct for vulnerability that distinguishes him within the group's harder-edged sound. His composition "Twilight" (또 다시 밤), included as a B-side on the 2024 EP Ate, became his first solo-composed track to chart on the Billboard World Digital Sales Chart. His OST "Updraft" for tvN's drama Typhoon Family in October 2025 marked his first headlining solo release. The range of his writing is most visible in pieces written for others. "The Little Things" (행복 뭐 별거 없네요), released March 2026 for I.N as part of the SKZ-RECORD series, is a bare acoustic ballad built around soft piano and the mundane moments that hold meaning. Nothing like 3RACHA's usual output. Exactly right.
