Haruto
Haruto (하루토), born Watanabe Haruto (渡辺温斗), is one of the clearest low-register breakout performers to come out of YG Entertainment's recent idol pipeline. The Osaka-born rapper entered the company through YG Treasure Box and debuted with TREASURE on August 7, 2020, quickly standing out for a deep tone, relaxed stage confidence, and unusually clean rhythmic delivery for such an early-career idol.
Inside TREASURE, Haruto has been more than a visual-center fan favorite. He has lyric credits on early group material including BOY, MMM, COME TO ME, and MY TREASURE, which matters because it placed him inside the group's creative core from debut rather than treating him as a pure performer. His tall frame and low voice make him instantly identifiable, but the stickier part of the appeal is how comfortably he moves between polished idol performance and a more rap-forward edge.
That edge came into sharper focus with VolKno, the 2022 trio track he delivered alongside Choi Hyun Suk and Yoshi. As TREASURE keeps widening its unit activity and global touring footprint, Haruto remains one of the members most responsible for the group's harder sonic profile and its crossover pull in Japan and beyond.
