Hwang In-youp
Hwang In-youp (황인엽) emerged from Seoul fashion weeks as a runway model before making one of the sharpest pivots in Korean entertainment. Born January 19, 1991, in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, he spent his formative years in the Philippines, graduating from the Nikkei Jin Kai International School in Davao and earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design from Philippine Women's University. He returned to Korea, signed with what became KeyEast, and made his screen debut in 2018.
The breakout arrived in 2020 with back-to-back roles: the brooding Suho in the webtoon adaptation True Beauty (MBC, 2020-2021) alongside Moon Ga-young and Cha Eun-woo, and a supporting turn in the body-swap drama 18 Again. Both series became international hits on streaming. The Sound of Magic (Netflix, 2022) followed, co-starring Ji Chang-wook, and later that year he headlined the legal thriller Why Her? (SBS, 2022) opposite Song Hye-kyo. He broadened his range further with the family drama Family by Choice (tvN, 2024). Now represented by KN Studio, he is set to star as genius film director Woo Soo Bin in ENA's upcoming romantic comedy Dream to You (2026), marking his first collaboration with Hyeri.
