Hwang Min-hyun
Hwang Min-hyun (황민현), known professionally as Minhyun, is a South Korean singer and actor who has built one of the most multifaceted careers of his generation. As the lead vocalist and visual of NU'EST, he was a cornerstone of the group from their debut on March 15, 2012 until their final chapter in 2022. In 2017, Minhyun was selected for the project group Wanna One through Produce 101 Season 2, spending a transformative year as one of the supergroup's most beloved members before reuniting with NU'EST.
Following NU'EST's disbandment, Minhyun pivoted to acting with remarkable success. He starred in tvN's fantasy period drama Alchemy of Souls (2022), then took the male lead in the rom-com My Lovely Liar (2023) opposite Kim So-hyun, earning widespread acclaim. In January 2025, he led the TVING original series Study Group as a top student navigating high school chaos. After completing mandatory public service, Minhyun was officially discharged on December 20, 2025, and wasted no time returning to the spotlight -- hosting the 2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon just days later.
