Jiung

Jiung (지웅), born Choi Ji-ung (최지웅) on October 7, 2001, in Anyang, South Korea, is a rapper, vocalist, dancer, and composer in P1Harmony. Standing 178 cm with blood type O and an INTJ personality, he is the second-youngest of seven siblings and carries a reputation as the group member most likely to disappear into his own thoughts. He began dancing and writing music as a teenager, developing a compositional voice that draws on trap, R&B, and contemporary pop structures. Revealed as the fourth member of P1Harmony on September 16, 2020, Jiung debuted alongside the group on October 28, 2020, with the mini-album Disharmony: Stand Out under FNC Entertainment. The group launched with an unusual model: a full cinematic debut film alongside the music release, positioning P1Harmony as a narrative-driven act from day one. Jiung fit that frame naturally. His range as a live performer, covering rap verses and melodic hooks within the same setlist, made him one of the group's most adaptable assets on stage. Across the Disharmony/Harmony arc, Jiung contributed to songwriting and production credits, a track record that deepened through P1Harmony's later releases including EX (2025) and Unique (2026). His creative involvement within the group goes beyond performance. Fellow member Keeho has noted that Jiung's instinct for melody shapes the group's internal workshop dynamic. Off stage, he is known for an interest in space, aliens, and the kind of philosophical tangents that his INTJ label makes predictable.
