Jonghyeong
Jonghyeong (종형), born Kim Jonghyeong, is a South Korean singer and performer best known as a long-running member and leader of DKZ. Unlike the members who entered later, he connects the group's full arc, from the early Dongkiz years through the 2022 rebrand and into the final five-member era that closed the act's group run in 2026.
That continuity gives his profile extra weight. Jonghyeong was there for the original debut period, for the brighter concept material that helped distinguish Dongkiz inside the small-agency boy group field, and for the later shift that turned DKZ into a more visible name after Cupid. As leader, he became one of the faces most closely tied to the group's identity across lineup changes, comeback cycles, concerts, and fan-facing content under DONGYO ENTERTAINMENT.
In April 2026, Dongyo announced that DKZ would conclude group activities on May 31 while all five final members remained with the company for individual work. That means Jonghyeong moves into the next stage with something many post-group artists do not have: a documented record that spans the group's entire lifespan. He is not only part of DKZ's final lineup. He is one of the clearest links between the project's first chapter, its rebrand-era breakthrough, and whatever comes after.
