Jung Eun Chae

Jung Eun Chae (정은채), born Jung Sol Mi, has built one of the most distinctive careers in Korean acting by refusing the obvious lane. She moved from modeling and textile design studies at Central Saint Martins into film, then broke through with Hong Sang-soo's Nobody's Daughter Haewon, a performance that immediately marked her as someone better suited to atmosphere, tension, and ambiguity than easy sentiment. Television widened the frame, but it did not blunt that edge. Return, The Guest, The King: Eternal Monarch, Your Honor, and Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born all kept her in roles with real authority.

That screen presence fits naturally inside Flex x Cop Season 2, where she steps into a higher-visibility franchise opposite Ahn Bo Hyun and Yoo Seung Ho. As Joo Hye Ra, she brings a sharper, colder rhythm to the procedural world around Jin Yi Soo, giving SBS a different kind of center for the season. She is currently managed by Project Hosoo, the boutique company she launched with her longtime manager after leaving KeyEast.
