Jung Jiseob (정지섭) is the guitarist and vocalist of Seoul-based band V01D, debuting March 11, 2026 under IX Entertainment. Born November 11, 2001, he brings the most raw rock credibility to the V01D lineup.
Before V01D, Jiseob was a member of indie rock band 2Z from 2020 to 2024, departing in November 2024 due to health issues. He had previously promoted under just the stage name Jiseob; V01D is where he began using his full name. His origin story is Nirvana. Hearing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" as a child, he asked his mother for acoustic guitar lessons in elementary school, earned a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo somewhere in between, and built a reputation as a guitarist with a chic exterior and a surprisingly warm personality.
On V01D debut album [01], Jiseob handles guitar across all four tracks and co-wrote lyrics. His years in an independent band before joining an entertainment label-backed group give V01D its instrumental authenticity.
