Kim Dong-yun
Kim Dong-yun (김동윤) is one of the members who gives DRIPPIN its edge. Since the group's October 2020 debut under Woollim Entertainment, he has worked as part of the lineup that keeps the act from sliding into a purely soft-focus lane. DRIPPIN has always carried melody, but Dong-yun helps hold the sharper side of the mix together, especially as the catalog moved from the early Boyager frame into darker and more performance-driven material.
That became clearer again in 2026 when Woollim launched ChaDongHyeop. Pairing Dong-yun with Cha Jun-ho and Lee Hyeop for Doogeundae gave him a more compact setting, where the details of his delivery landed faster and the chemistry between the three members had more room to register. Instead of treating DRIPPIN as a single static block, Woollim used the subunit to show which voices and personalities could carry a different scale of release.
For HITKULTR readers, Kim Dong-yun matters because he sits right inside that transition point. He is part of the original DRIPPIN arc, part of the newer subunit play, and part of the reason the group still feels flexible rather than locked into one concept. His page works best when it reflects that movement instead of reducing him to a basic member stub.
