
Kim Seol-hyun
Kim Seol-hyun (김설현), known as Seolhyun, is a South Korean actress. Born January 3, 1995 in Bucheon, she trained under FNC Entertainment and debuted with girl group AOA in 2012, becoming one of the most commercially visible faces in K-pop through back-to-back brand campaigns across automotive, beauty, and fashion sectors.
Her acting career moved into full view with Orange Marmalade (2015) and the MBC historical drama My Country: The New Age (2019), where she held her own opposite genre veterans. She continued building her drama resume with Awaken (2020) and The Killer's Shopping List (2022). In 2022, she left AOA and formally transitioned to a full-time acting career under The Present Company.
Seolhyun's most substantial recent role came in the 2024 JTBC fantasy series The Light Shop, where she played one of the leads opposite Kim Ji-won. In 2026, she appears in the Netflix period thriller Tantara, marking her first Netflix Original credit. Winner of the Best New Actress prize at the 36th Blue Dragon Film Awards and the 55th Grand Bell Awards.
