Kim Sungmin
Kim Sungmin (김성민) is a Thai-Korean singer, model, and performer whose camera instincts were obvious long before CLOSE YOUR EYES officially debuted. Born on December 26, 2005, he entered public view through JTBC's Project 7, where his stillness, proportions, and confidence in close-up shots made him one of the show's most immediately marketable contestants. He finished seventh and debuted under Uncore on April 2, 2025.
Before idol debut, Sungmin worked in modeling, and that background still shapes the way he reads on screen. He understands posture, pause, and image-making in a way that gives him value beyond standard visual-label shorthand. That helped him slot naturally into the group's rollout across Eternalt, Snowy Summer, and Blackout, where he became one of the members most associated with teaser work, fashion-heavy styling, and polished broadcast close-ups.
For a project group that needs every member to register quickly, Sungmin offers something practical: a strong editorial presence that does not feel overworked. He bridges idol performance and fashion image-making cleanly, which is a big reason his profile has continued to sharpen as CLOSE YOUR EYES moved through its first full year.
