Uncore
Uncore (언코어) is a South Korean record label and entertainment agency established on November 28, 2024 in Seocho District, Seoul, as an independent venture by SLL and YG Plus. Led by CEO Park Chang-seong, the label was built from the ground up for CLOSE YOUR EYES, the seven-member project group formed through JTBC's survival series Project 7. Unlike a conventional label with a broad roster, Uncore operates as a purpose-built management vehicle, with CYE's project window defined through April 2028.
The label debuted CYE on April 2, 2025 with the mini album Eternalt. In under a year, Uncore guided the group to 1.2 million cumulative album sales, a United World Chart peak of number two for the title track "X," and a sold-out first world tour spanning Seoul, Japan, Canada, Malaysia, and Russia. The group's third release, Blackout (November 2025), sold 570,000 copies in its opening week. In January 2026, CYE held their first solo concert "Beyond Your Eyes". In March 2026, Uncore confirmed the group is preparing their fourth mini-album, targeting April 2026.
The name Uncore reflects the label's philosophy of placing the fandom at the center of the music business: "un" suggesting a challenge to convention and "core" representing the fan community that anchors the enterprise.
