Lee Jae-wook

Lee Jae-wook (이재욱), born May 10, 1998, is a South Korean actor who broke out as the magnetic second lead in Extraordinary You (2019) and has since established himself as one of K-drama’s most in-demand leading men. He started as a model before pivoting to acting, making his screen debut in Memories of the Alhambra (2018). His career-defining role came with Jang Uk in tvN’s fantasy epic Alchemy of Souls (2022-2023), a global phenomenon that earned him Best Actor at the Asia Artist Awards among three acting prizes. Subsequent leading roles in Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (2020) and The Impossible Heir (2024) kept his momentum steady. In 2025, he starred in two Netflix originals back-to-back: the period romance Dear Hongrang (May 2025) and the romantic comedy Last Summer (November 2025, co-starring Choi Sung-eun), where he took on his first-ever dual role. Both dramas affirmed his range across genre and tone. In 2023, he appeared in Death’s Game alongside Seo In-guk. He also makes a special appearance in Boyfriend on Demand alongside Jisoo of BLACKPINK.
