Lee Seung Gi

Lee Seung Gi (이승기), born on January 13, 1987, in Seoul, is one of South Korea's most versatile entertainers, equally accomplished as a singer, actor, and variety show host. Known as the "Ballad Prince" and celebrated as a "Triple Threat" entertainer, he debuted in 2004 at just 17 with the hit single "Because You're My Woman," produced by Lee Sun-hee, which immediately established him as one of the most promising voices of his generation. His music career produced numerous chart-toppers including "Will You Marry Me," "Return," and "The Ordinary Man," earning him a Golden Disc Award. On May 7, 2025, he released the digital single "Empty," marking his latest musical comeback. His parallel acting career made him a true household name across Asia. My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho (2010) became a pan-Asian hit, while Gu Family Book (2013), Vagabond (2019), and Mouse (2021) showcased range that spanned romantic comedy, action thriller, and psychological drama. He has also been in talks for the film The Big Family, directed by Yang Woo-seok. As a variety host, he became the face of 1 Night 2 Days and Master in the House, winning multiple SBS Entertainment Awards. Lee married actress Lee Da In in April 2023, and the couple welcomed their first daughter in February 2024. He signed with Big Planet Made Entertainment in April 2024.
