Lexi
Lexi, born Lexus Vang, is the performance anchor and leader of GIRLSET, the JYP Entertainment and Republic Records group that emerged from the VCHA system and reintroduced itself in 2025 with a leaner four-member identity. Raised in Wisconsin, Lexi arrived with years of ballet training and the kind of technical discipline that made her stand out immediately on A2K, where she finished first and locked in a leadership role before the group ever debuted.
Her profile matters beyond ranking history. Lexi is one of the few Hmong-American artists to break into mainstream idol infrastructure, and she has carried that visibility without flattening it into a novelty headline. Once the group moved from Girls of the Year and Only One into the post-rebrand run of Commas, Little Miss, and Tweak, she became the clearest symbol of GIRLSET's reset: sharper performance, stronger visual identity, and more confidence about who the group is selling to.
That trajectory gave her a bigger lane than simple rookie-leader framing. Lexi now sits at the center of GIRLSET's public image while the group pushes for a longer US-Korea crossover runway, helped by touring links to TWICE and a remix credit that pulled in Missy Elliott. She is still early, but the shape of the career already looks durable.
