Lexi
Lexus "Lexi" Vang is the leader of GIRLSET, the JYP Entertainment and Republic Records girl group that rebranded from VCHA in August 2025. Born November 22, 2005, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to a Hmong-American family, she carries a heritage with almost no precedent in mainstream global pop. The Hmong are a Southeast Asian Indigenous group with a large diaspora across the American Midwest, and Lexi has spoken about her background as a point of cultural pride rather than a footnote in her biography.
Before entering the idol pipeline, she spent twelve years in ballet and was previously a member of K-pop cover group Prism Kru, which she joined in 2019. That background gave her the technical foundation to rank first in the A2K competition finale in September 2023, securing her spot as the founding leader of VCHA alongside five other members. After five months of training at JYPE's Seoul headquarters, the group made their official debut on January 26, 2024, with the single "Girls of the Year". In February and March 2024, VCHA opened for TWICE on a leg of the Ready to Be World Tour across Brazil, Mexico, and Las Vegas.
When KG departed in December 2024 and Kaylee followed in July 2025, Lexi anchored the remaining four-member unit through their August 2025 rebrand as GIRLSET. The quartet released "Commas" as their first single under the new name, followed by "Little Miss" in November 2025, the latter remixed with Missy Elliott in January 2026. In March 2026, "Tweak" sampled SWV's "Weak" and topped YouTube Trending Worldwide, pushing the group into a new commercial register. Her MBTI is ISFP. Her representative color in the group is white.
