Martin (마틴; born Martin Edwards, Korean name: Park Woo-joo / 박우주) is the leader of CORTIS, BigHit Music's five-member boy group under HYBE. Born March 20, 2008 in Songpa-gu, Seoul to a Korean mother and Canadian father, he grew up between Seoul and Ottawa, Canada. He first appeared on the international stage as a member of the Rainbow Children's Choir and served as flag bearer for Iceland at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, joining BigHit Music a year later. Before debuting with CORTIS on August 18, 2025, Martin worked as a producer and songwriter across multiple HYBE acts, contributing to TXT's "Deja Vu" and "Miracle" (minisode 3: TOMORROW) and "Beautiful Stranger" (The Star Chapter: TOGETHER), ILLIT's "Magnetic" (SUPER REAL ME), LE SSERAFIM's "Pierrot" (CRAZY), and ENHYPEN's "Outside" (DESIRE: UNLEASH). He co-wrote all five songs on CORTIS's debut EP Color Outside the Lines and contributed to the "GO!" choreography. A trained synthesizer player, he cites Mac Miller and Tyler, the Creator as musical influences and BTS's RM as his primary role model.
