Moon Jung-hee

Moon Jung-hee (문정희, born January 12, 1976) is a South Korean actress who built her reputation through theater before becoming one of the most trusted supporting performers in Korean film and television. She graduated from the Korea National University of Arts with a major in drama, then joined the Hakchon theater troupe and made her stage debut in Blood Brothers in 1998.

Her first screen appearance came in the 2000 film I Wish I Had a Wife. From there, she assembled a filmography defined by precision: the disaster thriller Deranged (2012), the labor drama Cart (2014), and the action spy series Vagabond (2019) on SBS. Her work in Cart earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the 24th Buil Film Awards. In Vagabond, she portrayed the morally complex Jessica Lee, a role that won her the Best Supporting Actress trophy at the SBS Drama Awards.

The 2020s saw her steady work continue. She appeared in OCN thrillers Search (2020) and Times (2021), and joined the Netflix ensemble The 8 Show (2024) as a contestant navigating a twisted survival game. In 2026, she stars in the Disney+ series Gold Land.
