Nam Gyu-ri
Nam Gyu-ri (남규리) built her name at the center of 2nd generation K-pop. As leader of ballad trio SeeYa, she helped define the genre's vocal identity from 2006 until her departure in 2009 amid a high-profile contract dispute with Core Contents Media. Post-SeeYa, she pivoted to acting, landing notable roles in the horror film Death Bell (2008) and the romance-fantasy drama 49 Days (2011). Her YouTube channel "남규리의 귤멍" documents her daily life and has become a direct line to the fans who followed SeeYa through its original run.
In March 2026, she returned as CEO of SeeYa Co., Ltd., the independent management company the three original members founded for their 20th anniversary reunion. Their pre-release single "Nevertheless, We" (그럼에도, 우리) dropped March 30, 2026, with a full fourth studio album scheduled for May 2026. She confirmed the group's original disbandment came from "outside reasons," not conflict between the members.
