Park Jihyun

Park Jihyun (박지현, born December 12, 1995) is a South Korean trot singer known as the "Trot Prince." Born in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, he graduated from Honam University with a degree in Chinese Studies. As a teenager he dreamed of becoming an idol and tried to persuade his mother to let him audition at JYP, but the path took a different direction. His national breakthrough came on TV Chosun's Mr. Trot 2 (2023), where he finished as runner-up, building a dedicated following through his combination of smooth vocals and relatable personality. The show sparked a popularity that extended well beyond the core trot audience. Subsequent variety appearances on MBC's I Live Alone introduced him to a broader demographic, where his candid domestic life made him one of the more watchable new faces on Korean network television. Jihyun made his official solo debut on June 13, 2024 with the digital single "I Like It When You Smile," following it with OST contributions including "Nice to Not Meet You" (2025). His YouTube channel @ParkJiHyeon1212 documents his ongoing music and personal content. Managed by Grace E&M, he continues to release music and build his presence across both music and variety formats.
